December 11 – Tornado Relief and Recovery Efforts

Thank you to everyone who joined us in serving the community, specifically those impacted in some by the December 11 tornados. From December 12 – December 18, 2021, we worked with the 16 organizations below to organize and implement a collection drive that opened for individuals from December 16-18.

In addition to the collection drop off and pick up, organizations were able to provide items to fill a needs list for displaced families, and during the week of December 19, we are using the donations provided to purchase and deliver furnishings and home goods to multiple families moving into apartments this week.

We are no longer accepting monetary or material donations for the collection drive. We look forward to sharing information soon about new days for the supply pickup at State Street Baptist Church in addition to community meals and other activities to support families impacted by the tornado.
