We invite educators to teach with Jonesville Academy during the 2024 – 2025 academic year every other Saturday. Teaching with the Jonesville Academy is expected to continue to be a paid opportunity for certified teachers in the Bowling Green Independent School District and Warren County Public Schools thanks to our partnership with both school systems. Individuals, outside of those school districts, that are interested in volunteering as teachers are also encouraged to apply.

The Jonesville Academy seeks to provide a space inclusive of Black and Brown educators, and experienced teachers known for being advocates for youth of color in their academic pursuits. Educators from all backgrounds are welcome to apply.

WKU student teachers are invited to join the classrooms to assist in providing an energetic and interactive learning experience.

Educators spend every other Saturday for a total of 14 Saturdays with a group of up to 30 students teaching from one of our three core subject areas (1) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, (2) Reading and Writing, and (3) Exploring Languages, History, and Cultures.
