About The Academy

Let us tell you more about the Jonesville Academy

The Jonesville Academy program and curriculum are designed for Black and Brown young men in grades 3-10 in Bowling Green and Warren County. Jonesville Academy Scholars accept the opportunity to extend their learning beyond their elementary, middle school, or junior high school to work toward a pathway to success that includes interactive learning from teachers of color, mentorship, networking, and community engagement with peers.

Honoring a once thriving community with the legacy of the next generation. 

Jonesville Academy is a program honoring the Jonesville community, a community that was home to Black families, businesses, and more beginning in the 1860’s.
