Selection Criteria

Jonesville Academy seeks dedicated scholars who are eager to extend their learning beyond the classroom and pursue a pathway to success. During the application review process, evaluators assess the following:

  • Completion of Application – All required questions must be answered to be considered.
  • Commitment to Participation – Applicants must demonstrate their ability to attend meetings and actively engage in the program.
  • Quality of Responses – Open-ended responses are carefully reviewed to gauge the scholar’s enthusiasm, goals, and potential for meaningful participation.
  • Submission Timing – Applications are reviewed in the order they are received, so early submissions are encouraged.
  • Teacher Recommendations – Educator insights help assess the applicant’s readiness and suitability for the program.
  • Classroom Capacity – Due to space and resource limitations, each class has a maximum number of available slots.

Jonesville Academy strives to create a supportive and enriching experience for all scholars while ensuring that resources are allocated effectively for their success.
