The Jonesville Academy offers educational programming for all boys and young men, with an aim to provide opportunities that connect underrepresented minority males with leaders, mentors, and educators from diverse backgrounds and engage them in content that celebrates their culture and ethnicity while equipping them for academic and career success. The youth in the programs learn from certified teachers and receive mentorship, along with the opportunity for additional support for parents and within schools.

Primary Subject Areas

Instructors

Experienced K-12 teachers deliver the Jonesville Academy curriculum. Thanks to the generous support from Warren County Public Schools and Bowling Green Independent School District, up to nine instructors will be recruited for the program. In addition, the Jonesville Academy partnership with the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences encourages WKU student teachers to assist in the classroom.
